SPRING FLING
April 23-26, 2014
Bannock County Fairgrounds, Pocatello, ID

The Spring Fling took place at the Bannock County Fairgrounds in Pocatello.
The theme of the event was "SPRINGTIME IN THE ROCKIES".

Mayor Brian Blad welcomed us to Pocatello.

Wednesday evening we watched a movie,
The Long Long Trailer with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.

Several chapters entertained us Thursday evening with Skits and Bits.
This skit, put on by the Happy Samers, was entitled "Camping Drill Team".

As always, there were games, games and more games.
The Hand and Foot competition took place Friday evening.

While the Samettes held their luncheon, the men had a luncheon of their own. They also received
a very informative seminar about RV batteries and solar systems presented by Scott Hardenbrook.

Dick and Carol Deutsche presented Miracle Maker awards to
two chapters for their support of Dogs for the Deaf.

The banquet featured a choice of Baron of Beef or Chicken Breast.

And finally, we were thoroughly entertained by "
The Entertainers", a retro song and dance group.
