FALL ROUNDUP

The Samboree took place at the Jerome County Fairgrounds in Jerome. The theme of the event was "THRILLER". Sue and Gale Chipman arranged the event assisted by John and Eldona Lounsbury.

This is one of our favorite venues for state events.

There were rigs parked in the parking lot, on the grass behind the main building and in the racetrack infield.

A number of people brought their drones. Tom Cole is demonstrating how stable his drone hovers.

This was the set decoration behind the podium.

The highlight of the Fall Roundup was the 'Carnival'. Ron and Alan are selling tickets for some of the booths and games.

Bonnie is selling sloppy joes.

Karen is fishing for prizes. There is a line of would-be fishermen behind her.

Scott is trying his luck with the pong-ball toss.

When the music stops...

No wonder there are so many participants. Look at all the sweet prizes!

Or how about a hot dog?

Suddenly THRILLER started mysteriously playing on the PA system and the ghoulies came out of nowhere.

The state directors joined in the merriment.

Of course it wouldn't be a Fall Roundup without a bean-bag baseball game.

The veterans constructed and painted over 100 crosses for Memorial Day ceremonies at local cemetaries.

The Fall Roundup ended Saturday evening and everyone had a good time.
